how quickly can you turn my project around?

We don’t and won’t rush work as it’s a disservice to both parties to speed through the project, and we’re not in the business of leaving our clients unhappy with the work we’ve produced for them. We are more likely to turn a project down than accept a deadline that’s uncomfortably tight. We’ll do everything we can to meet the proposed deadline agreed upon in our first conversation, and in the instance where it becomes unreasonable or unlikely that the quoted completion time will be successfully met, we will always inform you in writing of a revised completion date.

What will you need from me to get started?

To get us off to a good start, We ask for a clear brief at the beginning of every project. if you don’t have anything prepared, and would like to formulate a brief, our brand questionnaire provides a space for you to get this together; in it we ask what you’re after and when your deadline is––allowing us to understand what you’re after in terms of deliverables and other aspects of the project. If we need any more information before we put together a proposal, we can also supply you with a structured brief template which allows you to fill out other key questions––influencing the success of your project.

The quality of work that we produce for you will always be partially informed by the quality of the brief you bring to the table. When the project gets off to a good start, we have all content (i.e. copy and images) in one place – this can be in a Google document, one PDF / a Powerpoint or word document. We really don’t mind which place, however, it should be a file that we can refer to repeatedly. And, if you’re working with other colleagues, this one document needs to be approved by everyone before you share it with us. Too many chefs spoils a broth!

How much will it cost?

We consider each project's pricing carefully, considering the creative time and production requirements involved in the undertaking. We base our costs on previous experience, typical processes, and your cooperation in providing content, meeting deadlines and approval. We charge an hourly rate of £125.00+VAT for those who prefer to invest in our services on a retained basis; more on this can be found at the bottom of this page. In the former case, we ask for all payment to be made up front, per our creative process flowchart. In the latter case, we will charge you at the end of the month. N.B. The creative process flowchart is only relevant for our medium or premium package. The MVP package is priced at just £7K +VAT and is therefore limited to just three revisions on our design work.

Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?

The annual cost of a full-time senior-level designer now exceeds £60,000, plus benefits. Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilise. With a monthly retainer plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you're only paying your designer when you have work available for them.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

Once subscribed to a design package, it will be clear on how many iterations you are offered within the overall fee. Should you need more designs, a good option could be to invest in our retainer packages, you're able to add as many design requests to your queue as you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.

WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAT EXCEED THE HOURS WITHIN MY PACKAGE?

We will then start to charge according to our hourly rate of £125.00 +VAT (we can get a lot done in this time!)

How fast will I receive my designs?

On average, most requests are completed in just two days or less. However, more complex requests can take longer.

Who are the designers?

Alexandra and Jonathan :)

What programs do you design in?

The Adobe Suite, Figma and Canva.

How do I request designs?

We offer a ton of flexibility in how you request designs using Plot, Slack and Email. We can also leave your feedback, etc. over on a Loom video.

What if I don't like the design?

No worries! We'll continue to revise the design until you're 100% satisfied.

What if I only have a single request?

That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and return  when you have additional design needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.

Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?

Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued. It’s like asking for a tailor to make you a suit, but then changing your mind after it’s been made, and all the materials and labour paid for. We can prevent any miscommunications from happening and deliver gorgeous work that hits your brief, if the brief is clear and your feedback is easy to take on board and interpret.

Can I give feedback before the project is over?

Yes, we include up to three rounds of amendments within the cost of each project, giving you the opportunity to steer us in the direction that pleases you most. Any changes after those three rounds of amendments are up will be chargeable on the basis of an hourly rate of £125.00 +VAT.

What if I find out THAT I need additional items?

If you require something new, or if you’d like to make significant changes to the original brief, that’s okay - let us know as soon as possible so we can revise the costings and provide an updated estimate of delivery time.

DO YOU CHARGE A RUSH FEE?

If you need your project to be done within 48 hours, a week or a fortnight, it means prioritising your work around our existing client project. We need to accommodate your wishes, concerns and needs above our other clients and working outside of work hours; turning around quality work in a short amount of time means we need to charge an extra 25% on top of the project fee. Think of it like checking ‘priority boarding’ when flying.

Will I receive editable versions of my assets?

Sometimes. If you have requested social media materials, we will provide you with templates in user-friendly software providers including Canva and Mailchimp. However, additional materials including artwork and graphic design assets will be provided in an un-editable format. That said, have a conversation with us about what you need, as we will negotiate an additional cost for each file that must be provided in an editable Adobe format.
