Say hello to hannah, founder of Dalston Wine Club

Hannah Crosbie is a wine and food writer from Edinburgh. She first poured wine in a fine dining restaurant when she was seventeen, and has been fascinated by wine, food and restaurant culture ever since. Now, she curates wine lists, throws events and writes about wine for a variety of publications; all with the aim of making wine accessible to a new generation of drinkers. An exciting young voice in the industry, she has residencies at Soho House and One Hundred Shoreditch. She also writes about wine for Mob Kitchen, FRIEZE, The Sourcing Table, Courier, Refinery29 and Pipette Magazine.

In 2020 she set up Dalston Wine Club; an inclusive event series designed to bring young people into the world of wine. Her events are centred around demystifying the esoteric world of wine and welcoming a new generation of wine lovers and professionals. Her wine lists and supper clubs also occasionally pop up in West, East and South London. Crosbie currently lives and works in London, and is always planning her next restaurant visit.

She has a podcast which she hosts with Sophie Wyburd, I’ll Have What She’s Having. It launched July 2022 and each week sees the pair put the world to rights over a meal and a bottle of wine.
