HOW IT IS TO WORK WITH US

  1. CHEMISTRY STYLE SESSION and OUR BRAND QUESTIONNAIRE

When you get in touch about a project, we'll ask you to fill out our brand identity questionnaire.

Your answers allow us to understand your expectations, deadline and specific needs. Ideally we will also receive more information on your brand; work you’ve already done to get the ball rolling and customer insights.

48 hours later, we’ll have an initial meeting, ensuring we're fully prepared to deliver immediate value; including a mini–brand audit. We meet with you to chat about your project in person, our pricing system to see how and if we are the right for for each other. Every client and project is unique so this is a conversation about how we can tailor deliverables for you that meets your requirements.

2. WE REVIEW your answers and design a proposal

We read your answers to our questionnaire and do a comprehensive analysis of your current brand. With our strategy team we create a proposal with a breakdown of costs and project timeline. Within this phase we compare your brand in relation to competitors to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Through digital paperwork and based on all our conversations we communicate our understanding of your needs and help to manage your expectations. We share this with you along with our terms and conditions for you to review before investing.

3. sign agreement

By partnering with us, you’re agreeing to actively engage in our creative process. This includes being available for presentations and providing clear, timely feedback. Your commitment is essential to achieving a strong outcome.

Working this way allows us to use time efficiently, avoid unnecessary revisions, and deliver work of the highest quality — ultimately saving you time and money. Once you’re fully happy with the proposal, timeline, and terms, we’ll issue an agreement outlining expectations on both sides to ensure a smooth process and the best possible result.

4. begin our process

We issue you with a deposit invoice to secure our time and commitment on your project. Once paid we will start by releasing all the research we have done so far and gathering your feedback on it. This, and the rest of the process is outlined within our flowchart, allowing us to begin our collaboration with confidence and ease, ensuring you have exactly what you want from the project outcome.

5. WHAT TO EXPECT

We promise will let you know what we need and where you are at every stage. To keep things organised, we will send you calendar invitations to coincide with the project timeline. We will deliver good design work, on time and within budget, and let you know in advance if it looks like there’s any scope creep. Along with your input throughout the process, we will present the final brand design. This includes any extras agreed upon at the beginning of this process. We ensure that the end result is bespoke and to a high standard as we never share work that we are not proud of ourselves!

I used to roam around my dad’s wood workshop in West Yorkshire, terrorising his colleagues and making wooden sculptures. I’d accompany him to the demolition sites of the old mills of Manchester and Leeds that were being pulled down; everything within the mills was meant to be burnt, however, he’d salvage wood, bobbins, and cast iron objects and use the materials to make floors and furniture out of the reclaimed timber and other items. The idea that you could make something out of nothing interested me.
